Our initial offering consists of two poems of Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi plus assorted goodies. With music by yours truly Jerry Forman, you may download these songs for free. NEWS FLASH CINCO DE MAYO: ALL SONGS FREE. I’ve managed to translate them into spanish and record them as such, but native speakers of ¨the loving tongue¨ will please forgive any mistakes which I  have made; I’m working on it. The same goes for my turkish in the poem some consider to be one of  Rumi’s best-known: Regresa, which can be heard in english as Return. Primavera can be heard in english as Spring.

Additionally, you can find a link to our first video, a song called Rumi Nation Revolution. Born in spanish with a short bridge in english, it is dedicated to all those who bravely occupy Wall Street and  to people all around the world! To the 99%: never give up!

Also on video now is last year’s version of my band El Mundo Natural performing a Rumi poem called Say New Things.

Throughout this momentous year of 2012, we plan to be recording and adding new songs frequently. One such number is heartSpring, a hymn to water in english for which you can choose your own ending: turkish or spanish. Manana Carnaval is a well known Brazilian melody for which I’ve written a new lyric. Quite recently I wrote El Lenguaje del Amor in spanish; the english language version is now available as The Language of Love. Yunus Emre’s  Gelin Tanis Olalim or Come Let’s All Be Friends For Once is a timeless AND a timely song if ever there was oNe. It’s on our Listen page as GTO.
